Celsus Library

Celsus Library is nothing less than a remarkable monument reflecting the ancient Roman learning and architecture that is located at Ephesus, within modern-day Turkey.

Built by Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus in the 2nd century AD, it was one of the largest libraries in the Roman Empire and held a huge collection of scrolls.
