Gallipoli Battlefields

Gallipoli Battlefields are part of the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey and represent one of the most important and blood-shedding parts of the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I in 1915.

There are many cemeteries, monuments, and historic sites dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of these battles: Anzac, British, French, and Turkish. It was a hard-fought campaign at a great cost of lives on both sides.
